Robert's First Tour of Scotland - A Huge Success

Last weekend Robert and The Country Kings traveled to Scotland for three nights.

The tour kicked off on Friday 10th April which saw Robert performing to an enthusiastic crowd at the Caithness Country Music Festival in Hallkirk, Caithness.

Robert was headlining the show and so went on last to a well warmed up and very appreciative crowd.

This show was filmed by BBC Scotland for later broadcast around September time (we shall announce here on our news section). People who are not in Scotland will be able to watch as long as they have Sky Digital.

Saturday night (11th April) saw Robert and the band heading to Invergordon Social Club, Invergordon. Robert performed all of his hits to one of the largest crowds in recent history at the club.

The final leg of the tour on Sunday 12th April saw Robert performing at The New Inn Hotel, Ellon. This too was a great night with everyone enjoying themselves and having a ball.

A Word Of Thanks

Robert and the band would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Scottish fans who came to see our shows, without whom we wouldn't get to perform and do what we do.

Thanks to everyone who sent us e-mails and messages about our tour. We received lots from Scottish fans telling us how much they enjoyed the band's "high standard", "great sound", and a "truly wonderful show". So thank you for your kind messages.

Also to all of the promoters, Dj's and everyone behind the scenes who helped put the tour together and make it such a success.

Finally to everyone at the venues and The Acorn House who made Robert and the band feel at home, for their lovely refreshments and Scottish hospitality.
